ABOUT
Dr Emilia Olsson
I am materials physicist with many years of expertise in atomic scale modelling. I completed my PhD at University College London in 2017 where I developed a methodology to optimise and design a novel solid oxide fuel cell cathode. My post-doctoral work took me to the University of Surrey where I used density functional theory and ab initio molecular dynamics to understand the performance limiting and enhancing atomic motifs for battery applications. In September 2021, I moved to the Netherlands to take up a tenure-track Assistant Professor position at the University of Amsterdam and start the Materials Theory and Modelling group at ARCNL.
